• High Temperature Resistance: Viton O-rings can withstand a wide range of temperatures, often from -45°C to 204°C (-45°F to 400°F), depending on the specific grade. Some grades can even handle even higher temperatures for short periods, 
• Chemical Resistance: Viton O-rings are resistant to a broad range of chemicals, including fuels, solvents, hydraulic fluids, and many organic solvents and chemicals. 
• Fluid Resistance: They are also resistant to various fluids, including petroleum oils, mineral oils, vegetable oils, and even steam (up to 400°F). 
• Ozone and Weather Resistance: Viton O-rings offer excellent resistance to ozone and weathering, making them suitable for outdoor applications
• Compression Set Resistance: They maintain their shape well even after prolonged compression. 
• Gas and Liquid Permeation Resistance: They effectively prevent the passage of gases and liquids through the seal. 
• Good Mechanical Properties: Viton O-rings exhibit good tensile strength, resilience, and flexibility.
